Actress Avalon Morgan is playing the victim of a vampire king on an island off New Orleans when the victim of a real killer is found on set. Avalon begins to investigate after the production is shut down. With an increasing body count, FBI agent Finley Stirling is impressed by Avalon's sleuthing, which takes her to the darkest parts of the Internet, where killers disclose their crimes. One such account is a dead ringer for the murders, but when the evidence disappears, nobody believes Avalon--except for Fin. With no one they can trust, Avalon and Fin are intent on uncovering the truth, but a return to the deadly island could be the final thing they do.
