Meet Elisabeth. Together with her family, she has left her New England home for a new life in Nova Scotia. There, her family, along with many others, will resettle land that was once home to a people called Acadians. Elizabeth knows nothing of the Acadians, or Nova Scotia. Life in Nova Scotia is irresistible. It isn't long before she puts her worries aside - until she discovers that someone has been in the barn, stealing their eggs and milk. Who is the thief?
